100% successful data recovery from Seagatedisk with serial defect
Seagate model series 7200.11, ES.2 DiamondMax22 suffer a serial defect that causes the disk to spin normally without any unusual noise, but cannot be detected by BIOS or by the operating system, or can be detected but with zero capacity thus data that are on the disk are inaccessible. We have special equipment allowing access to the diskin manufacturer mode, which allows us to overcome this defect and also save all data from the disk at a price within the range 2 000 – 4 000 of Czech crowns without VAT.
We warn against an amateur attempt to restore disks. The defect can not be remedied by replacing the external control electronics. The fault is caused by damage to the disk service area (located in a dedicated area on the data plate) and special equipment and detailed knowledge are necessary for its reconstruction. The smallest mistake during rescuing the data can cause loss of the data forever.
We have a 100% success rate of data recovery from these disks unless they had been subjected to a rescue attempt before a customer turned to us. In our intervention we find and fix errors in the service area of the disk and then we upgrade the disk firmware, preventing the error from happening in the future. As a result, the disk is fully functional.
According to the statement from Seagate, the serial defect concerns following models. However, we encountered the same defect in other models as well.
